My current research is focused on: (1) the perception of human made enviromental risks using psychometric analysis to create cognitive maps of these risks for various countries and cultures; and (2) process and outcome evaluations of specialty courts such as domestic violence courts, mental health courts, and drug courts to test hypothesis emerging out of the philosophy of therapeutic jurisprudence. Receipient of Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence.
